Send One Enquiry, Quote the Whole Project

Large projects rarely buy a single unit. A substation order usually combines a step-up unit, one or two step-down units, station auxiliary capacity, and matching switchgear. Pricing them one at a time means repeating the same technical conversation several times and losing package-level savings.

Use this page to put the whole requirement into one request. List each unit on its own line with the six data points below, send it once, and you will receive a single quotation covering every item, one delivery schedule, and one point of contact.

The Six Data Points We Need Per Unit

For each line in your enquiry give six numbers: rated capacity in kVA or MVA, primary voltage, secondary voltage, frequency (50Hz or 60Hz), quantity, and whether an on-load tap changer is required. Those six answers are enough for us to select a core and winding design and return a budgetary figure. Anything beyond them – altitude, ambient temperature, cable box orientation, special paint – can follow afterwards.

If you are still working out the rating, two pages help: how to calculate transformer capacity and our comparison of power versus distribution transformers. If instead you already know the rating and want a product page to quote from, browse the power transformer line or the high voltage range.

What You Get Back

For Every Enquiry

  • Acknowledgement within 24 hours from an engineer, not an inbox
  • One consolidated quotation covering every unit in the list
  • Itemised options so you can see exactly what each upgrade costs
  • Outline drawing before manufacture for your approval
  • No obligation and no charge for budgetary pricing

Before You Send

  • Confirm the vector group your protection scheme expects
  • Note the site altitude and maximum ambient temperature
  • Tell us whether the grid operator requires OLTC
  • Tell us if fire rules rule out mineral oil – ester fluid is available
  • Say whether you intend to witness FAT, remotely or in person

Documentation Included

  • Routine test reports for every unit dispatched
  • Type test reports available on request for the same design family
  • Operation and maintenance manual with torque and oil values
  • FAT checklist for witnessing before shipment
  • IEC 60076 and IEEE C57 test guide explaining every result

Send Your List

Email info@xsdfftransformer.com with the unit list, or send it over WhatsApp on +85254162620. To speak with an engineer directly call +8615867897761. Alternatively use the contact page and attach your single-line diagram if you have one – it speeds up transformer selection considerably. Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need final drawings before asking for a price?

No. Budgetary pricing needs only the six data points per unit. Detailed drawings come later, once the commercial terms are agreed and before manufacture begins.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No. Single units are quoted as readily as complete substation packages, and each line is priced individually so you can drop items if scope changes.

How long is a quotation valid?

Budgetary figures are typically held for 30 days because copper, core steel, and freight move. Firm pricing is honoured for the period stated on the quotation itself.

Can you quote against our own specification document?

Yes, and it is often the fastest route. Send the specification, data sheet, or existing drawings and we will mark each clause as compliant, alternative, or exception rather than sending a generic offer.

Will the quote include delivery to site?

Export packing and loading are standard. Freight, insurance, and site delivery are quoted separately against your Incoterms preference so you can compare on equal terms.
