Manufacturing Capability
Production is carried out in-house in Baoding, Hebei, so that core, winding and assembly quality remain under our own control rather than depending on outside workshops.
- Core processing — slitting, cutting and stacking of grain-oriented silicon steel (and amorphous alloy where low no-load loss is the driver).
- Winding — dedicated winding stations for layer, foil and continuously transposed conductors, with interleaved insulation applied under controlled tension.
- Drying — vacuum drying and oil impregnation to remove moisture before the tank is filled and sealed.
- Oil processing — filtration and degassing of insulating oil to the dielectric strength required before filling.
- Assembly & finishing — tank fabrication, bushing and tap-changer installation, gasket and sealing work, then surface treatment.
See the factory page for the layout and equipment list.
Testing and Quality Control
Every unit is tested before shipment. Testing is performed against the applicable standard, and the test report travels with the transformer.
- Routine tests — winding resistance, ratio and vector group verification, impedance and load loss, no-load loss and no-load current, dielectric tests on the insulation and the oil.
- Type tests — lightning impulse, temperature rise and short-circuit withstand, where the project requires a type-tested design.
- Special tests — partial discharge, harmonics and noise measurement on request.
Quality control runs through the whole route rather than only at the end: incoming inspection of silicon steel, copper and insulation material, in-process checks at each manufacturing gate, and a final release review before packing. Details are on the testing page and the quality control page.
How to Read Our Rating Range Honestly
Buyers comparing transformer manufacturers see a wide spread of claimed ranges. The figures that matter are the ones a factory can demonstrate. We state 35 kV to 110 kV and up to 63 MVA because that is what we build and test routinely. Larger ratings and higher voltage classes are assessed case by case against the specification, and we will tell you plainly when a project sits outside what we can deliver — before you spend time on a technical review.
Applications
- Power plants — generator step-up and auxiliary transformers for thermal, hydro and renewable generation.
- Substations — step-down and distribution duty, AIS and GIS arrangements.
- Electrical grids — grid connection and transmission support.
- Solar power plants — inverter step-up and collector substation units.
- Wind power plants — collector and grid connection transformers.
- Renewable energy projects — cyclic-load designs with compliance documentation for grid connection.
Product Range
- Power transformers — oil-immersed and dry-type, 35–110 kV.
- Oil-immersed transformers — distribution to power class.
- Dry-type transformers — epoxy cast resin for indoor and fire-restricted installations.
- Large power transformers — utility-scale generation and transmission duty.
- Compact substations — prefabricated transformer, switchgear and protection in one enclosure.
Why Buyers Work With Us
- One supplier, one interface — transformer, switchgear and enclosure supplied together where the project calls for it, so interfaces and responsibility do not fragment.
- Specification review before quotation — we check the electrical and mechanical requirements first and flag anything that will not work, rather than quoting on assumptions.
- Export documentation — test reports, packing lists, certificates of origin and inspection coordination for overseas delivery.
- After-sales support — commissioning guidance, spare parts and technical assistance after the unit is energised.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is your maximum power transformer rating?
Our routine range is 6.3 MVA to 63 MVA at 35 kV to 110 kV. Larger ratings are reviewed case by case — send the specification and we will confirm whether we can manufacture and test it.
Do you supply oil-immersed and dry-type transformers?
Yes. Oil-immersed units cover distribution through power class. Cast-resin dry-type units are supplied where indoor installation, fire safety or environmental rules rule out oil.
What standards do you build to?
IEC 60076 and GB 1094 / GB/T 6451 as the baseline, with IEEE C57 and ANSI requirements accommodated where the destination market requires them. The applicable standard is confirmed in the technical agreement.
How long is delivery?
Lead time depends on rating, tap changer and testing scope. Standard configurations are typically around 20 days where material is in stock; non-standard builds run longer. Confirm your required date in the enquiry and we will quote against it.
Can you manufacture to a customer design?
Yes. Non-standard voltage ratios, impedance values, tap ranges, cooling classes and enclosure finishes are all part of normal project work. Send the specification or drawings and we will carry out a design review before confirming.
Request a Transformer Quotation
To quote accurately we need the rated power, primary and secondary voltage, frequency, vector group, cooling method, tap range, quantity and the intended application. If you have a specification document, send that instead — it is usually faster.
